PSG launches integrated cable partnership with Hengtong Group
Power Supplies Group (PSG) has strengthened its capability in the power and utilities sectors through a new partnership with Hengtong Group, one of the world’s largest transmission cable manufacturers.
The agreement positions PSG as the exclusive UK and Ireland partner for Hengtong’s high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) cables (110kV – 400kV), offering potentially game-changing delivery timescales alongside type-tested accessories from PFISTERER.
PSG is now uniquely positioned to provide a single source delivery model for scalable HV and EHV grid connections, bringing together cables and accessories with PSG’s technical integration across critical infrastructure projects in the UK and Ireland. Direct engagement with installation teams will also enhance project delivery, offering a single point of accountability.
The distributor is already seeing strong market engagement, with early orders secured and multiple live quotations across HV and EHV projects – and the team expects further acceleration based on future approvals in the transmission and distribution operator sector.
