PSG secures Cyber Essentials certification to verify cyber security commitments
We’re proud to confirm that we have successfully achieved Cyber Essentials certification, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to cyber security, data protection and operational resilience.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed certification scheme developed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) to help organisations guard against the most common cyber threats and demonstrate their commitment to cyber security best practices.
After a rigorous certification process, certification verifies that we have implemented key security controls across our IT infrastructure, including secure configuration, access control, malware protection, security update management and firewalls.
Russell Codd, Managing Director at PSG, said: “This is an important milestone for the business and took a lot of hard work from individuals across our team. Certification demonstrates our commitment to maintaining strong security standards across the organisation, verifying that we’re taking the right steps to help protect our systems, our people and our customers’ data. However, we remain vigilant to make sure that we’re proactively taking steps to address evolving cyber threats.”
Cyber Essentials is widely recognised across both the public and private sectors as a benchmark for cyber security readiness. The certification helps organisations reduce their exposure to common online threats while providing reassurance to customers, partners and stakeholders.
